The costliest Kingfisher that cost us two cell phones and a car key, and we only realized it after getting back to the river bank!
Some learnings: • Don't get carried away, little downstream the river has crocodiles as well and not just kingfishers. • Don't forget to put on the TC and later complain the reach is never enough :-) • Carbon fiber tripods are so lightweight they may float (not really) hence don't use (only carry) in water :-) • Bigger lens = Bigger worries • Check your pockets and gear before getting into water, unless you have really deep pockets :-)
