Lammergeier Gypaetus barbatus
The Lammergeier or Bearded Vulture is a huge bird with a wing-span of nearly 3 meters (10 feet). In India it is found at higher elevations of the Himalayas. It's main diet is bone marrow which it extracts from bones by dropping them from large heights.
